Ocean West closed on the acquisition of Nine@Tallahassee in late 2019, as part of a three-property portfolio that included Nine@Rio and Nine@West Campus (both at the University of Austin, Texas). Nine@Tallahassee is a 438-bed mid-rise luxury student housing property located adjacent to the Florida State University campus, just steps away from the popular College Town entertainment area. The property opened in the fall of 2019 and was 100% preleased by the end of 2018 while the building was still under development. The property boasts a luxurious amenity package including a rooftop pool and amenity deck, and 8,000 square feet of Class A retail.
